An inventory of new Sharps containers is stocked on all UMI trucks, and our technicians will maintain your available inventory at the levels you require or specify.
With each medical waste pick-up, UMI service technicians will inspect the Sharps containers and packaged waste to insure that it is acceptable for transport. They will then present the designated facility staff member with a manifest for signature, indicating the waste is ready for pick-up. Upon receipt of the signed manifest, UMI accepts custody and responsibility for the waste.
